The line of flight is a Deleuzian term that describes the desire to move from one territory to a new territory. Along the marks that I draw and those that I imagine, inviting the viewer’s gaze to follow mine, I bring certain things “from the world” to the surface, onto the canvas. Engaging with notions of time and distance, my work maps movements and migrations. The transparency is “phenomenal” and the perspective effect is diverted in favor of flatness.
